1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Audio Extractor - MP3 mobile application. This policy governs how media, device permissions, and technical data are handled when you use our application on Android devices.

2. On-Device Media Processing

Audio Extractor - MP3 is designed around a strict privacy-first architecture:

• Zero Cloud Uploads: Audio extraction, passthrough remuxing, AAC transcoding, and trimming are executed entirely on your local device hardware using hardware-accelerated Android Media codecs.
• No Media Access Without Consent: The app accesses only the specific video files you select using Android’s native Storage Access Framework (SAF).
• Local Output Storage: Extracted M4A/MP3 audio files are stored strictly on your phone’s local storage (in your public Music folder or local application cache).

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Audio Extractor - MP3 does NOT collect, store, or sell any personal sensitive information, including but not limited to:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or physical location.
• Your contacts, photo gallery, or device file system contents.
• The contents, filenames, or audio recordings generated inside the app.

4. Device Permissions

To provide core utility features, Audio Extractor - MP3 uses standard Android permissions:

• Storage / SAF (Storage Access Framework): Used solely to allow you to select video files for audio extraction and save exported audio files to your Music directory.
• Internet Access & Network State: Used exclusively to deliver server-side system status checks, load Google AdMob advertisements, and process optional push notifications.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used on Android 13+ to display optional status notifications for ongoing audio extraction background tasks.

5. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To support free development and app maintenance, Audio Extractor - MP3 integrates trusted third-party SDKs that may collect non-personally identifiable technical identifiers for ad serving and analytics:

• Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform (UMP): Delivers advertisements and collects user consent under GDPR/CCPA guidelines. AdMob may collect device advertising IDs (GAID), IP address, and coarse device metrics. Review Google’s policy: Google Privacy Policy.
• OneSignal: Enables optional push notifications regarding app updates and feature announcements. Review OneSignal's policy: OneSignal Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Audio Extractor - MP3 does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. Our application complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Family Policies.

7. Data Security

Because all media processing is performed on your own device, your files remain under your complete physical control. We implement industry-standard security practices for network communications with ad partners and maintenance services.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page regularly for any changes.
