Fever Tracker: Temperature Log is strictly a personal manual logbook application designed for recording, tracking, and managing body temperature readings taken with a real medical thermometer. This application does not measure human body temperature using smartphone hardware, camera sensors, or touch screens and does not provide medical diagnosis, clinical evaluation, or treatment prescriptions.

1. Local-First Health Data Privacy

Your health privacy is our highest priority. All personal records—including body temperature entries, measurement sites, fever symptoms, clinical notes, timestamps, and family profile details—are stored 100% locally on your device in a private database.

No Backend Cloud Sync: We do not operate remote servers that store, upload, or process your health entries.
No Account Required: The app functions entirely without user registration, login credentials, or personal identity verification.
Complete Data Isolation: Your medical entries remain strictly on your phone and are never transmitted to third parties unless you manually export a report.

2. Data Export & User Control

You maintain complete ownership and authority over all your logged health data:

Doctor PDF Reports: You can generate printable PDF reports to share directly with your healthcare provider during consultations.
CSV & JSON Backups: You can export raw CSV spreadsheets or JSON backup files to transfer records to a new phone.
Local Storage Execution: All report generation and file exports are executed locally on your device via Android Scoped Storage. No external servers receive your files.

3. Advertising & Technical Analytics

To support ongoing maintenance and development, this app displays non-intrusive advertisements served via the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and privacy choices via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

Technical Identifiers: AdMob may collect technical non-personal identifiers (such as IP address, device model, system version, and Advertising ID) strictly for ad serving and fraud prevention.
Zero Health Data Sharing: Your medical entries, fever logs, symptoms, notes, and profile names are NEVER shared with advertising networks or used for commercial profiling.

4. Permissions Used

The application requests minimal system permissions necessary to provide core utility:

android.permission.INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required solely for serving Google Mobile Ads and checking for app updates via Google Play.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to deliver user-configured medication and temperature check reminder alerts.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Required to automatically reschedule user-set reminder alarms when the device reboots.
android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Required to trigger precise reminder alerts for medication or temperature re-measurement.

5. Data Retention & Permanent Erasure

You can edit or delete individual temperature readings, modify family profiles, or perform a complete, permanent wipe of all local data at any time via Settings > Data & Reports > Erase All Local Data.
