🔒 100% Local Decompression: All file extraction, archive inspection, and file processing happen completely on your device. Your archives and extracted documents are NEVER uploaded, monitored, or transmitted to external cloud servers.

2. Android App Permissions Used

To deliver core archive extraction features without compromising device security, ZIP File Extractor requests explicit, transparent permissions:

Storage Access Framework (SAF)	Allows you to select specific ZIP archives and destination folders via Android's native file picker without requesting dangerous legacy storage permissions.
FileProvider	Enables secure, temporary file sharing with other installed applications (such as document viewers) using sandboxed content URIs.
INTERNET	Allows Google AdMob to fetch advertisements and allows OneSignal and Google Play to check for app updates and status alerts.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	Allows the app to verify active internet connectivity before attempting network requests.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)	Optional permission used to display extraction completion progress alerts or official app update notifications.

3. Third-Party SDKs & Advertising

ZIP File Extractor does not directly collect or store personally identifiable information (PII). However, the app integrates trusted third-party SDKs to support app monetization, notifications, and update management:

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): We use AdMob to serve advertisements (App Open, Banner, Interstitial, and Native Ads). AdMob may process pseudonymous device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID) and crash diagnostics for ad serving and anti-fraud analytics in compliance with Google Play Policies. 5. Data Retention & Deletion

Extracted files and temporary inspection caches are stored locally in your chosen storage directory or internal app sandbox. You can clear temporary cache memory anytime via Settings > Storage & Cache > Clear Temporary Cache or delete extracted files directly in the app.

6. Children's Privacy

ZIP File Extractor is a general utility application and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
